FUNCTION: Adaptive Reuse

In the spring term of the 2019-2020 academic years, a practical study was carried out within the scope of the Survey and Refunctioning course. The project location is in Iznik district of Bursa. As A3 group, Konak Square was worked on the 2nd Block ground floor. Firstly, analyzes related to the structure and the environment were made. In the next process, the measurements of the building and the environment were made and technical drawings were made with this information. After the survey, the buildings function was decided as a Youth Center. Three different functions were created on cinema. Young people interested in cinema can study here, visit exhibitions and experience technology. A great project was carried out together with the team under the name of Survey and ReFunctioning lesson by making indoor and outdoor designs suitable for all these functions.
