NICEA, namely Iznik; It is one of the rare ancient and historical cities in the world. Due to its location, it has become the focal point of humanity in every period of history. It reflects the political, religious, military, social and cultural lifestyles of various periods with its historical monuments and ruins. Iznik, which carries the ruins and historical beauties of many civilizations, is constantly developing today. It remains an open-air museum with its architectural beauties inherited from every period. Architectural heritages of Roman, Byzantine, Seljuk and Ottoman civilizations are abundant. A House of Auctions is opened in Iznik, a historical paradise. In the Mezat House, which will be opened in Konak 1 Square, antique items will meet new owners of antiques.
Why NICEA?
Nicea is the old name of Iznik. Antigonius took over the city in 301 BC and named the city, Nikaia, which was the name of his wife because of the traditions of that period. Over time, the name of the city became Nicea. There are Antiques, Exhibition Areas, Auction Hall, Antique Repair Center and Sahaf in Nicea Auction House.
