FUNCTION: Adaptive Reuse

In the project, which is planned to be implemented by Iznik Municipality President Kağan Mehmet Usta in order to bring the buildings in Iznik Konak Bazaar back to life, the survey works of 4 shops in block number 3 as A1 group were carried out. In Iznik region Various interviews were made with the tradesmen and local people. Survey studies of the area were done. As a result of some collaborations with other groups, the plans were combined and the final version of the block we will work has been revealed. After that, analytical survey work was done to the project and decisions were made about the places to be intervened in the building.
In our project, which we started in order to bring the function back to the structure, a hostel project was developed by taking into account the student potential and touristic visit in Iznik as the A1 group. In the project, Iznik and a project in harmony with nature were developed due to Iznik's nature.
Zarem hostel; lobby, administrative area, dining area, kitchen, billiard and reading hall, cafe, accommodation areas. In the building, openings and reinforcement studies were made with necessary arrangements to suit the project. Technical drawings and visualizations of the project were made.
