FUNCTION: Adaptive Reuse

 

In the Project carried out for the reconstruction of Iznik Konak Bazaar municipal building by Iznik Mayor Kagan Mehmet Usta, the survey Works of 4 shops in block number 3 as A4 group were carried out. (2 shops consisting of 2 shops and 2 shops combined.)

Interviews were made with the local people about the area and the environment. The stıdies of other surveys belonging tı block number 3 were combined. Plan and views of block number 3 were created. Analytical survey Project has been done.

The performance arts center Project was developed under the re-functioning Project. Based on the history of Iznik, the consept was created and the performing arts center was named Ion PSM. Based on the name Ion and the function of performing arts center, a logo was designed.

A utility program has been created and within this scape, lobby, reception, multi-purpose hall, cafe and garden spaces have been created. Room the aters, small seminars etc. Activities were aimed in the multi-purpose hall. In the garden , a scene was created for activities such as music., small games , etc. And used as a sitting area when not actively used.

Opening were created on the walls present in the building and reinforcement work were carried out. Technical drawings of project have been completed and renderings expressing the Project have been created.
